The BEC Team in Leicester are proud to work in conjunction with the Y Leicester, who provide a warm, safe environment for the young homeless of Leicester.
In December 2017 the BEC joined forces with the Y and organised our first charity event providing a festive lunch to their 60 residents all aged 16-25.
As a team we went to the Y on Tuesday 19th December hung Christmas decorations and played Christmas music whilst all sporting our favourite Christmas jumpers.
We served a selection of drinks, sandwiches, noodles, fruit, cakes, mince pies and other treats to the Y residents – all kindly donated by local businesses.
It was a wonderful experience for our team to meet the amazing young people of the Y, and a great opportunity for us to give back to our local community.
We look forward to working with the charity more closely in 2018.
